Introduction.
Theory of the Etheric Position.
The human brain only conceives of physical processes. All human communication is a ' holistic ' phenomenon, that is, an integral part of the relationship between a sender 'A' and a receiver 'B'. Human ' microtime ' is ultradynamic (cf. Heraclitus), that is, neurophysically complex, because the human microcosm is an arbitrary unified field constituted by X individuals at X moment. Every violent act on the rational, intellectual plane of communication entails a terminal neuronal degradation of the sending subject 'A', which is camouflaged, superimposed by virtue of what could be called a systemic metabolic lapse ascribed to the priority neurophysical rhythm of the arbitrary microcosm. This decalage or superimposed instantaneous action would be the sole reason for the survival of the violent act, which naturally dies in the rational realm. This would evoke Gnostic reminiscences of a logical principle, a "Logos," or the zero degree of rationality. The violent act originates in the soul of the sender 'A' in a dimension unattainable (OOL) by the receiver 'B'. But this intimate act that precedes communication would burn and imprint a supposed universal substance ascribed to the 'Logos' and which we can tentatively call 'Ethereal (or Etheric) Position' or “EP”. This simple scheme conceals the reason why humanity, human culture, is incapable of progressing towards a comprehensive understanding of the world. Because without the notion of 'Ethereal Position' 'there is no physical reference to study the problem, the phenomenon of violence and its 'Babylonian' (entropic) consequences, from a scientific position. The microcosm is an integral circle that encompasses all living beings, but it can only be discerned outside the very dynamics of the neurophysical 'Whole' . Because every volition or endeavor fuels systemic synergy and the confusion that inverts the natural order, placing the effect in the place of the cause. The ethereal etheric relationships between human beings—subtle as spiderwebs—give life to the hidden reality of the microcosm. Their existence is a legal paradox, just like human thought itself. Microcosm and etheric reality do not exist for orthodox scientists because neither ether nor thought can be studied or measured in vitro . Yet, the human animal is rational by virtue of its thought. And what is the original nature of thought? It is a suprasensible fact that prevails over humanity's material scientific pretensions.
We are experiencing a global planetary trauma that affects all living beings. This raises not one, but three ontological conflicts, three riddles of the Sphinx. 1- Are we truly rational animals? Because reason (ratio) is the universal degree of self-awareness and emanates directly from the Supreme Entity. 2- How can we survive this inner fracture—our fierce animality and selfish individualism—which is the ‘Original Sin’? 3- The confusion of the Tower of Babel (the imposition of the sign upon Sense), which is in itself the riddle of the Sphinx. If we answer incorrectly, we will disappear. Relativists may call us pantheists, but we imagine that if God sacrificed himself in the universe to endow inert matter with a vital breath, then the rational animal must, from the most basic tactile experience of Great Nature, recreate a new vision of the world. One that allows it to survive itself. The selfish impulse of destruction (sex, violence, and power) that separated it from the animal kingdom and endowed it with self-awareness. Man must recreate "Sense." But what is Sense ? The supreme universal rhythm. “Sense” is vibrating at the essential rhythm of the universe. It is a continuous flow of integral harmony among all living beings coexisting in the peace and mutual love that arise from the awareness of a shared origin (cosmogony) and a shared destiny ( anthropogony ). Because in humankind, who now represents the Fourth Kingdom of Nature, the mineral, the vegetable, and the animal are integrated. In short, it is the harmony between animal instinct and intellect, which is beyond human reach due to the drive, determinism, and negative impulse of Original Sin. An utopy for modern humanity living in this hyper-individualistic and selfish phase of history.
As Chesterton would say, this cosmic drama of God's Creation of man, Original Sin, the idea of Redemption in Jesus Christ, and the evolution of the dualistic intellect is a grandiose scheme for a living play, which is the human species itself. Yes, but faced with this intrinsic fracture, a new ritual of universal integration is needed. For a rational animal with clear destructive tendencies and an enormous narcissism. A ritual of integration that completely eliminates the sign and enthrones the 'Principial' Sense of the Universe. To achieve this, man must unlearn, categorically reject his intellectual and material worldview. Into which he transposes ( à son insu? ) all his baggage as a cruel carnivorous predator, a nomadic hunter , a ferocious animal. Man must learn to be a child But not just any child. In the labyrinth of his inner violence, he must discern a distant light… so small! It is, in total darkness, the remote point of light of the original purity of his astral body (Golden Fleece). It seems impossible, but it's as simple as starting from the beginning. “
Initiatory Principle of Art”
According to Goethe, only art makes visible that which would otherwise remain eternally hidden. If Goethe orders the plant world with his archetype of the original plant (“ Urpflanze ”), we would order the microcosmic ' microtime ' (the individual systemic physical entity) of gestural, verbal, and physical violence with the notion of Etheric Position (EP), whose foundation is the “Logos”.
Understanding the emotional and metabolic phenomenon, the neurological process of violence in human beings, represents a step forward in self-knowledge and in humanity's struggle against the cosmic principle of Evil. In every process of human communication, a biological and psychic contact takes place, which modern theater specialists call " holistic ," or integral. A 'body-to-body' relationship, a mutual and reciprocal touch in body and soul. An equitable sharing of psychophysical energy between the sender and the receiver. Because the sender's psychophysical 'whole' is visible and perceptually accessible to the receiver. In communication, we can discern, in our schematic way, four phases: 1-EP-soul/body, 2-intention/semantic message, 3-reception, 4-cognition and the cognitive interaction circuit. In violence, the sender conceals his psychophysical entity because his soul is displaced by the storm, the inner hurricane of 'Hate,' in the following scheme: 1-EP-emptiness, 2-semiotic aggression , 3 -reception/ shock , 4-synergistic metabolic disorder. The word/sign, transformed into a blunt object, impacts the receiver's body and mind at great speed, giving rise to an emotional shock that involves a particular phenomenon: repressed desire in its three variables: A- intellectual pride, B- physical-metabolic, C- pathological. The circuit relationship between sender and receiver, being psychophysical, manifests in the biological circuit thus established as a reversal of "Meaning." In this reversal, the sign occupies the place of Sense with all its metabolic and entropic consequences. Without contact with the sender's ‘Etheric Position’ , the receiver enters a negative circuit (repressed desire) in his own 'microtime' (neurophysical flux). This is due to the physical and processual way in which the human brain handles the perception and cognition of reality.
In human communication, we repeat, every process of hatred involves the disintegration, degradation, and death of the sender's physical body. This is due to the very nature of human thought and the rational dimension. To understand this, it is necessary to briefly state the theosophical context of the Word or "Logos." The microcosm is a unified field in which everything is connected, both the sacred and the profane. The termination of the physical life process, death, is proper to the physical body of man, who experiences it as the dyad of life/death. However, the opposite is true for the human intellect, which communes with the eternal, suprasensible principle of the Word or "Logos." Human verbal intellectual activity ( ratio ) is situated on a threshold between the physical animal and the suprasensible rational.
The unified microcosm is a tuning fork, a master psychophysical rhythm to which individual bodies attune. Violence disrupts these individual rhythms, creating waves of synergistic displacement that cause imbalances, depression, and illness. Even the smallest organic particle communes with the Whole. Therefore, violence taken to the intellectual plane signifies a shock and a fracture. From a hermeneutic or symbolic perspective, we can discern in this gestural, physical, or intellectual violence an attempt at the supremacy of the sign over “Sense.” The ontological principle of “Evil.” A continuous reenactment of the confusion of the 'Tower of Babel'.
Microtime
Is this death of the violent act of the subject visible ? To understand this, it is necessary to recall the etheric psychophysical nature of the unified field that is the microcosm. Here, the flow, the transit, so to speak, is managed according to the priority order of circuit rhythm . In this collective ether, all individual rhythms are interconnected and coexist within the master rhythm of the 'whole'. When there is no rhythmic harmony or homeostatic balance, and an emergent peak appears due to various causes or motivations (pathological, etc.), negative circuits of blocking and compression (convulsions) of the agonistic will, can occur. A typical case is the epileptic seizure due to the automatic blocking of the abnormal emergent peak by the autonomic systems of the human body. In the case of verbal violence that dies in the rational environment, the suppression occurs at the moment of cognition due to the emotional shock inherent in the aggressive act. Every cognitive emotion involves a metabolic shift and a change of dimension (from the psychic to the physical) in which the receiver literally assimilates and internalizes the kinetic energy, so to speak, of the aggression. In this way, the receiver intrinsically superimposes his physical body onto the ‘Etheric Position’ (EP), disintegrated and dead, of the aggressor. This is why the aggressor remains alive, seemingly, while the recipient bears the full weight of the metabolic imbalance caused by the aggression. All this aerodynamics and Doppler effect, the effect of the sign transformed into a shell, disappears with simple contextualization or awareness. If the receiver has even a minimal understanding of the nature of the aggression, he does not absorb the emotion,'detaches' himself from the aggressor's mental state, and witnesses the aggressor's physical body disintegrate and die. We have already reiterated that the quid of the matter is a dimensional transposition caused by the fact that the origin of aggression is psychic (' OOL ': beyond the reach of rational cognition). Without metabolic transposition, the aggressor's mental state confronts the receiver's serene psyche and dies. The phases of expanded violence are: 1-aggressor's psyche and 2-receiver's metabolism. The contextual formula is 1-aggressor's psyche and 2-receiver's psyche (without emotion). The continuity of the action on the psychic plane unveils the ontological mystery of physical death in the rational dimension. This is due to the 'liminal' (threshold) position that human language occupies between two opposing dimensions.
This description of " microtime " is important because it offers us a scaled-down model of the intrinsic nature of human conflict. For the aggressor, an undisclosed act of violence is a false structure for development, an empty bubble. Everything built upon it either collapses or triggers a chain of violent acts.
In conclusion, there are two opposing forces in human consciousness, in the self-aware 'I'. These are: 1- Intellect (Quality), which is static and 'inherent' as it derives from the Logos, and 2- agonistic will (Quantity), which is energetic effort and physical process. This is the battleground of humanity. On one side, we have the static Intellect, which is inner serenity, inherent in the Supreme Principle. It is represented by vectors of the primordial Word: Moses, Buddha, Socrates, Jesus Christ, Saint Francis, etc. On the other side, we have Physical Force, the Empire of brute force and energy, represented by Brennus , Xerxes , Alexander, Caesar, Attila, Genghis Khan, Pizarro, Napoleon, Stalin, Hitler, etc. Their totemic animal is the bull, which symbolizes brute force dominating through extreme violence. The intellectual pole, on the contrary, is characterized by the inner serenity that emanates from faith in the intrinsic essence of the Universe/God. He who imposes himself by his own volition, in a static state, without physical force or agonistic energy. According to the simplified model thus stated, any individual or social conflict develops as a decontextualization of the causal principle of aggression within the Brute Force vs. Brute Force framework, that is, the psyche-metabolism polarity. This is only resolved through the Psyche-Psyche polarity, through which violence collapses upon itself. In any particular case such as Ukraine/Russia, Israel/Palestine, Japan/China, etc, this implies a 'synthetic communication' based on an approach that emphasizes their anthropological, cultural, and historical communion with each other. This is the basis of universal concord, and its opposing force would be the large industrial capital of both countries.
The Creation of Sense: Corrective Action and Reintegration Ritual
The fundamental idea of the universe is that God can be inferred, perceived, and felt by all rational beings. This is because God is inherent in the nature of the universe (the God/universe dyad). Universal matter possesses the vital breath of life and reason (ratio). Thanks to this essential condition , rational beings appear through evolution. This is the cornerstone of universal culture. The paths for animals to attain reason vary. In the case of Earth, this path has involved sex, violence, and power. This triad is imprinted on human DNA and acts as an ontological determinism. Copulate, violate, command. Criminals possess all three imperatives, while peaceful people possess only two. The history of humanity is meaningless without considering this determinism. Now, in one way or another, the human animal has attained self-awareness, the "Universal Degree." However, driven by its determinisms, it has created an anthropocentric and anthropomorphic worldview.
“Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.’ (…) So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them.” (Genesis 1:26-27). This passage from the Bible should not be interpreted literally but figuratively. Because the human form is a particularism, an arbitrary phenotypic configuration that reflects the environmental parameters of our planet. Humankind conceives of the world, the universe, from the perspective of itself. This egocentrism is at the heart of all of humanity's totemic conflicts.
To address the ontological conflict that conditions humanity's behavior, we can use the concise and practical approach of the late Victor Turner, a specialist in the ritual process. Ritual is the universal remedy for healing conflicts in both small and large social groups. The process consists of four phases: breach, crisis, corrective action, and reintegration/schism. The purpose of this ritual is to mend the primordial triple fracture of: 1) ignorance of the ontological meaning ( en soi ) of reason; 2) the criminal impulse by which the animal attained reason, or 'Original Sin'; and 3) linguistic confusion due to totemic pride, or the 'Tower of Babel'. The basis of this ritual, which unites what has been separated by violence and animal pride, is the ontological nature of the threefold universe, where all processes have a formative purpose: evolution toward a threefold level, the elevation of the animal from the physical and psychic to the spiritual, thus closing the circle, the cosmic revolution of a Supreme Will. The first step on this 'Path' is to overcome the violent impulse of totemic machismo and transform it into fraternal empathy through a new ritual that synthesizes the common nature of rational animals on the basis of a shared ontological and ontogenetic communion. This is the cosmic principle of reason, the divine Word or “Logos.” Inspired by the Pythagorean oath, we can imagine a spiritually united world declaring, “By virtue of the Ternary Logos, our shared fraternal identity defies time and space because everything that arises from the eternal Word is destined for eternity.” Although differences of race, culture, and language among the peoples of Earth are superficial and cosmetic, reaching this level of spiritual awareness of the universal community is currently an utopy because the powerful force of the Totem stands in its way. Humanity is not unaware of this: its basic behavior remains unchanged since the Stone Age. The Totem signifies the synthesis of all humanity's instinctive desires through the original triad of sex, violence, and power. This is a truth consciously assimilated and shared by humanity. It is intertwined with the vital need for survival, and also with the admiration for the strength of the simplest of spirit. As in the case of Pompey and Caesar, where the criminal destroyer of the Roman Republic is endlessly praised and deified, while the heroic defender of the Republic, Pompey, is reviled and marginalized from history and tradition. This implies a very low average overall intelligence quotient, which allows for the continuation of distinctly troglodytic behaviors (the best example of which is the deep psychology of the soldier). Over the tribe-people-nation complex, male supremacy is erected through the de facto use of brute force; established power structures; religious intolerance; violence as the sole means of defense and deterrence; and sex as the primary motivator of action. Now, with revolutionary miniaturization technologies, we cannot even claim a qualitative change in traditional behavior. The rational animal now kills with better technology and efficiency and remains anchored in the Paleolithic.
Conclusion.
In conclusion, humanity has transformed its ignorance of itself into pseudoscience . Due to the consequences of the de facto dualism (the Nominalism of the 9th and 11th centuries), which governs experimental material science, there isn't even a schematic terminology with which to analytically approach the physical/suprasensible 'limen' of the human microcosm. This is the natural neurological medium of word and thought. Because of this, there is no physical reference point from which to study the phenomenon of individual and collective violence. Therefore, human society only focuses on the a posteriori (in retrospect) of violence and its irreversible consequences, completely renouncing to any preventive action. As Goethe aptly stated, only art makes visible that which otherwise remains eternally hidden. Only someone with a hypersensitive 'neurological rhythm' can analyze in detail the neurological causal process of violence, which constitutes an ontological model of all individual and collective conflicts in human society. This is the message for the orthodox scientists: the human mind is the battleground of ternary universal reality and in rational violence lies the physical evidence. Original Sin, Tower of Babel, Riddle of the Sphinx, Logos, Saint John’s Gospel, Hermeticism, Nominalism, Universals, Dualism, Ontology, Theater, Performance, Victor Turner, Goetheanism , Microcosm, Theosophy, Prisca Philosophia, Relativism, and Egocentrism are correlatives of this essay, or rather article, in Philosophy of History.
