Who are you?

Who are you? What does know occidental man about himself? About the nature of his soul. His cosmic origin and terrestrial evolution. Nothing or very Little. Less than any Indian tribe. This ignorance is not only the cause of terrible conflicts. It is also the highway towards the extinction of the human species. Today, at the dawn of XXIst century, we can infer the universe is literally plagued with rational beings, builders of interplanetary civilizations. Yes, it is true. But only on the premise of self-knowledge. Because all rational intelligence comes from animality and only survive to themselves those rational animals who reach self-conscience. We live at the ‘point of no return’ of our highly destructive hi-tech ignorance. Which now declines the total destruction of our planet. Why is so important to know the nature of the human soul? Because she is the logical missing link of altruism and any ecological and humanitarian speech. The scientific proof of this communion of man based on an intrinsically shared cosmogony and anthropogony is lost in cosmic and geological time. The only scientific proof, today, is human reason (ratio ). The conscience of our own causal and effective responsibility in the preservation or destruction of our species and our world. From our Judeo-Christian heritage we have inherited a cultural prejudice of total rejection to knowledge of the post-mortem human soul. A prejudice firmly established since the beginning of Christianity for the fight against paganism, the Gnostic heresy, witchcraft and sorcery. But now, in our times, the study of the soul concerns only human survival through self-knowledge. Yes, it has been a long cosmic process. Since the appearance of the firts unicellular organisms up until the rise of the Fourth Kingdom of Nature. The human thought. The ontogenic lineage of man started hundreds of millions years ago. But all this ineffably agonic effort, everlasting vital commitment towards survival that gets lost in the dark night of times may disappear in an instant as ethereal as the flight of a butterfly. The irresponsible gambler that is the human animal bets it all in a card game against destiny. With the touch of a buttom all will be finished. Where do you come from? The word “universe” means ‘all in one’. According to an age-old tradition of esoterical reference (Tabula Smaragdina: ‘as above, so below’) human microcosm is a mirror reflection of macrocosm. Let’s take the example of ‘recreation’. When a boy builds a model kit, he penetrates in the magical world of ‘analogies’. The boy is glad because he’s got an old bird. The kit of a supersonic RF jet plane that flew in the Vietnam War. He reads the instructions carefully and starts a process that will take him from the incorporation of the object in the fantasy of his mind to the gradual and progressive in-formation of the different sections of the real plane. Emphasizing the colors of its ‘SEA’, South East Asia ‘camo’ and the exact numeric identification of its base and combat group, during the summer of 1968. Let’s remember for an instance Saint Thomas Aquinas “Triple Proof of God Existence” (concepts or Universals exist ’before’, ‘in’ and ‘after’ the object). This approach leads us forcefully to the nature of the human soul and to all that esoterical stuff regarding animism, spiritism, astrology, Hermetism, sympathetic magic, etc. In our hi-tech times technology works in the opposite direction of evolution. Man, more brutal than ever, is fundamentally a hedonist, a consumer of pre-digested foods. He hates all that pre-supposes an unnecessary intellectual effort. Notwithstanding that collective and personal survival depends on a simple introspection. To search for an answer to the everlasting ‘Riddle of the Sphinx’: who are you?, where do you come from?, where do you go? Today our world is at the brink of catastrophe. Because prevails the principle of supremacy by force and violence. The intellect of man today resembles that in the Upper Paleolithic prior to domestication of grains and animals and the first sedentary settlements. A world still ruled by the ancestral force of the Totem which unites the whole tribe, the clan, in a defensive nucleus and that declines this single political message: violence, power and sex. This Pre-Flood establishment underlies, today, the mind of almost all men. An intellectual level derived from child psychology very deeply embedded in the ADN. However, like all the problems derived from dualism it may disappear with a baby’s gesture, a single flick of the left hand. Being a convention of animal origin it does not stand a simple analysis or syllogism. Born out of freedom, it is the human spirit who asserts this rational analysis. The big perspective that illuminates the triple enigma of the human nature. Man is an integral part of the universe, but utterly rejects the most elementary universal principles. Because he carries them under his skin. He is the intrinsic effect of a universal cause but his vision of the world is subject to the swinging movement of his temper, character and metabolism. Everything arisen on the Earth is a synthetic reflection of the universe. The human animal reached self-conscience because reason (ratio) is an intrinsic part of the triple universe. He who realizes this simple fact closes an ontological “circuit”. All in One. All life on Earth has evolved from a triple cosmic influx. But, what can infer man about this triple gift that includes his immortal soul? Through the ages human behavior has been marked by egoism, savage animality and ritual cult to sex and power. Which explains the fate of early kingdoms and empires, disappeared one after the other (Sumer, Akkad, Etruria, Mitanni, Ugarit, Hattusa, etc). Egoism that derives from ignorance blocks the natural cosmic influence of fraternal union. In the psychology of the soldier we find the foundation of this everlasting Tower of Babel. The soldier believes he fights for his fatherland, his traditional values, religious and cultural beliefs. He becomes attached to signs and traits, affective values in opposition to the spiritual cosmic essence that created the planet and the universe. Cosmic essence that he carries like a brand mark since the dawn of his rational, individual conscience. Because, leaning on his instinct of competition and supremacy (Cf., Schopenhauer, Nietzsche) the elites make him think that the signs rule over the very sense (my team, my tribe, my Totem, is superior!). The elites that get richer retaining political and economic power on every piece of land called country. When the only real country that the soul can recognize as his own is the universe. The spiritual instance of the human soul, created to the image and resemblance of God (Genesis 1:27-28), does not have limits except those imposed by the haughty pride and superb evil. Of those sign manipulators that guide humanity towards senseless destruction and tragedy. Like those pigs of Gerasa possessed by demons in fugue (Marc 5: 1-25). Ukraine and Russia, for instance, are real brothers that have developed different Totems. The state of affairs today in the world points out to the undeniable victory of the totemic violence over the peaceful multitudes and a marker of this situation is the social condition of women around the world. The culturally developed countries ought to realize that theirs is a war against totemic violence in their own midst. Besides the terrorist menace of endemic violence of poor third world countries, Islamic fundamentalism, etc. The world must not be let in the hands of those who condition soldiers to keep on killing without knowing why. Eternizing the division madness of the Tower of Babel turned into an everlasting negative circuit. A folly disguised as wisdom. The fatherland of man is the universe. To think the contrary is a fall in the abyss. Imbued in my natural conviction of the universality of the human soul I have laid out a ‘Performance’ to unite, momentarily, “the two sides of the river” (Cf., Goethe). This ‘Performance’ is a Star of David that, for me, symbolizes the harmony between macrocosm and microcosm. Two overlapping equilateral triangles superimposed on each other. Numerically correlated from 7 at the base to 1 at the peak. Seven souls, seven times at the base and so on, up until just one soul at the peak. To show the world that when man gets rid of the illusory signs that mislead him in the physical world, his soul rushes in a primary gesture of devotion towards the feminine instance. Feminine entity not only maternal but matricial (matrix) that ensures survival and the performance of the human destiny, in the universe. That imprinted maternal factor is his physical mother, the Earth. That imprinted primary gesture of filiation for our Mother Earth is an ontological gesture born out of the universality of the human soul. Universality in man translates innocence. Infant innocence arising on all living beings and that is lost in the fateful road of existence. In the endless flux of nature flows life and death, day and night. Nature, flux and rhythm, is the source of Art. In nature we find inscribed the big mystery of duality that in human reason declines the triple nature of the universe. Fatefully confronted with the mystery of the human soul, in the integral ocean of microcosm i have distinguished the individual element from the whole. The semantic nucleus both of consumer society and of the notion of ‘energy’ that destroys our planet. The main cause of this destruction of nature is Dualism (in its acception of separation from the Spirit), and the paradox is that the living evidence of the triple nature of the universe, is man himself. But consumer society taken as a whole is a troglodyte sybarite motivated by sex ,violence and power. It delegates its integral responsibility in the preservation of nature in evil economic and political powers that govern deforming reality through the printed letter and the mass-media. So that’s it. The salvation of Nature depends on the “bon vouloir” of man. This implies a qualitative transformation in the same way as the ‘Epistles of Saint Paul’ or the ‘Book of Jonah’. To realize that the enigma of God’s presence in Nature underlies the way He plays with space and time and whose only actual evidence is human individual reason. This metanoia or change turns hate into love. Love for the elementary Mother that is the Earth. Love that demands us the sacrifice of egoism, as we can see it in Goethe’s “Fairy Tale of the Green snake and the Beautiful Lily”. The time is at hand! (Conversations of German Emigrants, 1795).
